Job summary

MicroSourcing in Cagayan de Oro is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain internal developer platforms and shared infrastructure services.

You will develop scalable tooling, support CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with engineering teams to standardize environments while ensuring security, performance, and availability across cloud and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Proficient with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, Go, Bash).
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and infrastructure automation.

Your Role

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proficiency in scripting or programming (e.g., Python, Go, Bash, or similar)
• Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Understanding of developer platforms, internal tooling, or IDP concepts
• Experience working in Agile or high-scale engineering environments
