Qualifications

• Proven experience in plastic injection machine maintenance or similar industrial equipment maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in diagnosing faults and performing repairs on injection moulding machines.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventative maintenance on plastic injection moulding machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on injection machines, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Carry out repairs and replacements of worn or damaged components, including hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical parts.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment, checking for signs of wear, leaks, or malfunction.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation of all servicing, repairs and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimise production disruptions.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and company policies.
• Train and assist junior maintenance staff as required.
• Monitor machine parameters and make adjustments to ensure consistent product quality.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plastic Injection Machine Maintenance specialist to join the team at ZHONG YU MOULD INDUSTRY. This is a full-time position based in Tanauan City, Batangas, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising our plastic injection moulding equipment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our machines operate at peak efficiency, minimising downtime, and supporting our production goals. This role is essential to our manufacturing operations and directly impacts the quality and consistency of our output.

Key responsibilities

Perform regular preventative maintenance on plastic injection moulding machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on injection machines, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions

Carry out repairs and replacements of worn or damaged components, including hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical parts

What we're looking for

Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and maintenance manuals

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

Valid driving licence (preferred)

Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in mechanical or electrical maintenance (preferred)

Experience with computerised maintenance management systems (preferred)

High level of safety awareness and commitment to health and safety protocols
