Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial field with 1-3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Licensing preferred but not required.
• Strong leadership and motivational abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented with good collaboration.
• OSHA or safety training is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs in a manufacturing setting.

Basic Job Description

1. Oversee all daily operations of the manufacturing plant, from raw materials, production, quality control, and maintenance to ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
2. Overall supervision of plant operations to establish and meet production goals, develop new ideas to make production more efficient, maintain quality control, and oversee all production and maintenance staff.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial degree or equivalent 1-3 years’ previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment;
2. Preferably licensed, but not required.
3. Effective leadership skills; ability to organize and motivate people
4. Excellent communication skills (verbal or written)
5. Ability to organize multiple tasks and priorities
6. Able to demonstrate high levels of problem-solving skills
7. Ability to work effectively within a team
8. Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Tools
9. Safety training courses completed (OSHA or company required) are a plus
10. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50lbs

WORKING CONDITIONS
