Job summary

World Class Laminate, Inc. is seeking a skilled Plant Mechanic to perform routine and major maintenance on fixed plant equipment in a production environment.

You will diagnose mechanical issues, perform repairs, and ensure safe operation while following maintenance records and company procedures. The role requires a technical course graduate with at least four years of experience in mechanical maintenance, ideally with knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and metrology.

Qualifications

• Technical course graduate with plant mechanic preference.
• Experience in maintaining fixed plant equipment and performing mechanical repairs.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and metrology is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance and mechanical repairs on fixed plant equipment.
• Inspect plant equipment to prevent major breakdowns and control repair costs.
• Lubricate chains, adjust tension, and clean/replace components as needed.
• Conduct minor repairs and troubleshooting of plant equipment.
• Accurately complete records, reports and checklists.
• Maintain safety, order and proper housekeeping in the area.
• Ensure proper operation and upkeep of assigned tools.
• Participate in productivity improvements and quality circles.
