Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• 5–10 years of plant management or senior operations experience in manufacturing.
• Proven expertise in production planning and scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets and driving cost reductions without compromising quality.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills across multiple departments.
• Strong understanding of HSE compliance and high safety standards.
• Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or related manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations, including production scheduling, inventory management, and resource allocation for efficiency and cost control.
• Develop and implement production plans aligned with demand forecasts and customer requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and manage plant staff across departments with a focus on accountability and safety.
• Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and government regulations; maintain a zero-incident workplace.
• Manage budgets, capital expenditure requests, and operating costs while maintaining profitability targets.
• Implement lean principles and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
• Maintain relationships with customers and cross-functional teams to support seamless operations.
• Conduct performance reviews, training programs, and succession plans for plant personnel.
• Report on KPIs including production metrics, quality, safety, and financial performance.
