Amcor Flexibles Philippines Corp. is seeking a Plant Finance Supervisor for our Santo Tomas City facility in Batangas. You will oversee financial accounting activities, ensure accurate reporting, and provide insights to support plant management decisions.

The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting knowledge, capable of collaborating across departments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. CPA or equivalent is preferred, with 5–7 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and analyze financial reports.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong numeracy skills and accuracy in financial computations.
• Experience in cost accounting, budget management and variance analysis.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting and fixed asset management.
• Strong supervisory and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino.
• Familiarity with Philippine tax regulations and accounting requirements.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting and financial reporting activities for the plant.
• Prepare and reconcile financial statements, general ledger accounts and trial balances monthly.
• Monitor plant expenditures and assist in budget preparation, variance analysis and cost control.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice verification and payment processing.
• Conduct plant inventory reconciliations and support asset management activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management decisions.
• Coordinate with regional finance teams and external auditors during audits.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff.

About the role
We are seeking a Plant Finance Supervisor to join our finance team at our Santo Tomas City facility in Batangas. Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily accounting and financial reporting activities for the plant, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies

• Prepare and reconcile financial statements, general ledger accounts and trial balances on a monthly basis

• Monitor plant expenditures and assist in budget preparation, variance analysis and cost control initiatives

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing and collection follow-up

• Conduct plant inventory reconciliations and support asset management activities

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, company financial policies and internal controls

• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making and strategic planning

• Coordinate with regional finance teams and external auditors during audit activities

• Train and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in financial operations

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

• 5-7 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and analyse financial reports

• Professional accounting certification (CPA or equivalent) is preferred
