Job summary

Viventis Search Asia is seeking a Finance Plant Manager to oversee all plant finance and accounting activities in Metro Manila. The role drives cost efficiency, profitability, and strategic financial decisions in collaboration with plant leadership and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a CPA license, a bachelor's degree in Accountancy, and 7–10 years of manufacturing finance experience, including cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• CPA license is required.
• 7–10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in plant finance, manufacturing cost accounting, or financial controlling.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, product costing, inventory valuation, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience in financial reporting, internal controls, and audit management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Manage manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing and variance analyses.
• Monitor production costs, material and labor expenses, overhead, and inventory valuation.
• Analyze actual performance vs. budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and KPIs.
• Partner with Plant Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement to improve efficiency and financial performance.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities and reporting accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, internal controls, and policies.
• Manage capital expenditure planning and monitor investments against budgets.
• Coordinate audits and implement improvements in processes and controls.
• Lead and develop the plant finance and accounting team.
