Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with plant finance, costing, budgeting, inventory accounting, and variance analysis.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Excel; SAP/Oracle experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial and accounting activities of the manufacturing plant.
• Manage plant costing including product and standard costing with variance analysis.
• Prepare and monitor plant budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, production variances, material usage, labor, and overhead.
• Provide financial analysis to Plant Management to support decisions.
• Monitor inventory valuation, movements, and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Engineering to identify cost savings.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Establish and maintain effective financial controls within plant operations.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors as required.
• Lead, coach, and develop the plant finance and accounting team.
