Rapid Forming Corporation in Taguig is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with a strong managerial track record to lead engineering teams and optimize plant processes. The role focuses on quality, safety, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver cost-effective products.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in civil or structural engineering within steel manufacturing, with at least 5 years in leadership, and must be ready to start immediately on-site in Taguig.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Professional License in Civil Engineering is required at the time of application.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Civil Engineer or a similar role in steel manufacturing and fabrication.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience.
• Willingness to work on-site Monday to Saturday, 06:00 A.M. to 03:00 P.M. at Taguig.
• Available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers and staff to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Develop and implement strategies for product improvement, value analysis, value engineering, and process optimization.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with production and sales to produce cost-effective products.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide guidance.
• Resolve technical issues during pre- and post-production.
• Improve factory efficiency and productivity with Production and Operations Supervisor.
• Forecast delays, mitigate risks, and inform stakeholders.
• Track subordinate KPIs and align staff with goals.
• Implement 5S standards to promote safety and organization.

• Professional License in Civil Engineering is required at the time of application.

• At least 10 years of experience as a Civil Engineer or a similar role within Steel Manufacturing and Fabrication environment.

• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial capacity.

• Excellent communication, organization, and planning skills to proactively manage project scope, analyze complex issues, identify potential risks, and implement effective solutions.

• Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.

• Amenable to work on-site from Mondays to Saturdays, 06:00 A.M. to 03:00 P.M. at 2nd Ave., Bagumbayan, Bicutan, Taguig City.

Job Description

• Working with the Production and Operations Supervisor to improve the factory's efficiency, productivity, and overall performance to meet organizational goals and objectives.

• Foresees possible delay and mitigates risks, while informing the team and stakeholders prior to adjustment of target completion.

• Tracking the performance of subordinates and measuring against their KPIs.

• Developing strategies, tactics, and KPIs to ensure the staffs are working towards a common goal.

• Practices 5S standards in the workplace to promote safety, efficiency, and organization.

• Upholds and protects the company’s image, values, and reputation at all times.
