Job summary

Century Pacific Food, Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation and Control Engineer to design, develop, evaluate, implement, monitor and improve automation projects for CPFI facilities in Laguna.

You will monitor CAPEX, oversee construction of CPFI-owned plants and warehouses, and collaborate with project managers to keep initiatives on schedule and within budget. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
• At least 3 years of instrumentation and control system design, analysis, and implementation.
• Proficiency in CAD software for control system design.
• Experience with PLC, DCS, or SCADA programming and related tools.
• Knowledge of ISA, IEC, NEC standards.
• Licensed Electronics and Communication Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop instrumentation and automation systems and components in line with BU requirements.
• Create schematics, diagrams, and layouts for control systems using CAD software; ensure systems are designed and installed in compliance with codes and regulations.
• Use software tools like PLC programming, DCS programming, or SCADA systems; develop and implement automation and control plans.
• Research and evaluate applicable instrumentation and automation technologies to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Observe and test operation of systems and equipment to diagnose malfunctions using testing devices.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting support; review and approve instrumentation and control design documents; demonstrate equipment functions to operators.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairing or modifying per manufacturer specs and documentation.
• Carry out cost-benefit evaluations and feasibility studies; ensure projects finish on schedule and under budget by collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients.

Job description

Job Summary:

Design, develop, evaluate, implement, monitor and improve ongoing and future instrumentation and automation projects that will be assigned by the Corporate Engineering Manager. Monitor and control the CAPEX of applied projects. Oversee ongoing and future construction of CPFI-owned plant and warehouse facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop instrumentation and automation systems and components in line with BU requirements.


• Create schematics, diagrams, and layouts for control systems using CAD software. Ensure that instrumentation and automation systems are designed and installed in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.


• Use software tools like PLC programming, DCS programming, or SCADA systems, develop and put into practice automation and control plans.


• Research and evaluate applicable instrumentation and automation technologies that will increase productivity and efficiency.


• Observe and test the operation of systems and equipment to diagnose malfunctions using available tools, process meters, network analyzers and other testing devices.


• Provide the BUs effective advanced trouble shooting support, following best practices for safety and fault isolation. Review and approve instrumentation and control system design documents, including specifications, drawings, and calculations. Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators in an effective communication way.


• Perform troubleshooting and repairing or modifying with minimal manufactures specifications and documentation.


• For planned initiatives, carry out cost-benefit evaluations and feasibility studies. Ensure that projects are finished on schedule and under budget by working together with project managers, other engineers, and clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in BS in Electronics and Communication Engineering


• Three (3) years of experience in instrumentation and control system design, analysis, and implementation


• Proficiency in using CAD software for control system design


• Experience with control system programming and software tools such as PLC programming, DCS programming, or SCADA systems


• Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations related to instrumentation and control systems, such as ISA, IEC, and NEC
