Job summary

Neltex Development Co., Inc. is seeking a Cost Accountant to monitor standard costs, variances, and production costs, ensuring accurate cost control across plant operations.

The role collaborates with PPIC and Manufacturing teams on BOM reviews, costing standards, and production reports, providing variance explanations and supporting budgeting and inventory reconciliation with internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Experience in cost accounting/plant accounting.
• Knowledge of standard costing, variances, BOM, and inventory.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly production and costing reports.
• Monitor and analyze standard costs and production variances.
• Review and maintain Standard BOM, yield, and product costing.
• Coordinate with PPIC and Production teams on variance analysis and explanations.
• Assist in budget preparation, inventory counts, and reconciliation.
• Ensure proper implementation of accounting controls and procedures.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.

Job description

Responsible for monitoring and analyzing standard costs, material variances, and production costs to ensure accurate and effective cost control. The role works closely with PPIC and Manufacturing teams in reviewing BOMs, yields, costing standards, and production reports, while providing variance analysis and explanations. The position also supports budgeting activities and ensures the effective implementation of internal accounting controls within Plant Operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• With experience in Cost Accounting/Plant Accountant
• Experience in manufacturing industry is an advantage
• Knowledgeable in Standard Costing, Production Variances, BOM, and Inventory
• Knowledgeable in SAP
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Willing to be assigned in Dasmarinas, Cavite
