Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Planning Engineer to ensure timely maintenance execution across the plant and balance of plant equipment. You will collaborate with the Maintenance team to implement corrective, preventive, and condition-based maintenance, while developing long-term maintenance programs to strengthen reliability.

You will coordinate with operations and maintenance leads, evaluate parts replacement needs, and monitor work orders, contributing to safe, efficient, and sustainable power

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Engineering registration (ME/EE) is required or must be pursued.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in power plant maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Operations and Maintenance Heads daily for maintenance schedules.
• Assists in pre-evaluation and inputs for parts replacement and ordering.
• Monitors timely implementation of scheduled Work Orders for main and balance of plant equipment.
• Assists in collating preventive, condition-based, and corrective maintenance plans for long-term programs.
• Collects data on maintenance activities to ensure adherence to procedures and proactive repairs.

As Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely implementation of corrective, preventive, and condition-based maintenance and emergency work order schedules. The position will also establish long-term maintenance program ensures compliance with standard maintenance procedures and provides a proactive approach to repairs and maintenance, and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Maintenance team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Coordinates with Operations and Maintenance Heads daily for all corrective, preventive and condition-based maintenance as well as emergency work order schedules.
• Assists and provides inputs in the pre-evaluation and analysis of the need of parts replacement and/or placement and order.
• Monitors the timely implementation of scheduled Work Orders with respect of the main plant and balance of plant equipment.
• Assists in the collation of approved preventive, condition-based and corrective maintenance plans to establish a long-term maintenance program for the plant.
• Collects data on preventive/corrective maintenance activities to monitor compliance to maintenance procedures as well as to provide proactive approach in repairs and maintenance.
