Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Planning Engineer to ensure timely maintenance execution and to establish long-term maintenance programs for its power plants. The role involves coordinating with Operations and Maintenance Heads, evaluating parts needs, and monitoring work orders across main and balance of plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance schedules for corrective, preventive and condition-based maintenance with Operations and Maintenance Heads.
• Assist in pre-evaluation and parts replacement planning and ordering.
• Monitor timely implementation of Work Orders for main plant and balance of plant equipment.
• Collate and support long-term maintenance programs and data collection for compliance.
• Provide proactive input for repairs and maintenance processes.

As Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely implementation of corrective, preventive, and condition-based maintenance and emergency work order schedules. The position will also establish long-term maintenance program ensures compliance with standard maintenance procedures and provides a proactive approach to repairs and maintenance, and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Maintenance team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Coordinates with Operations and Maintenance Heads daily for all corrective, preventive and condition-based maintenance as well as emergency work order schedules.
• Assists and provides inputs in the pre-evaluation and analysis of the need of parts replacement and/or placement and order.
• Monitors the timely implementation of scheduled Work Orders with respect of the main plant and balance of plant equipment.
• Assists in the collation of approved preventive, condition-based and corrective maintenance plans to establish a long-term maintenance program for the plant.
• Collects data on preventive/corrective maintenance activities to monitor compliance to maintenance procedures as well as to provide proactive approach in repairs and maintenance.
