AboitizPower is seeking a Mechanical Sr. Specialist to provide technical support for mechanical equipment across STG, Coal Handling, Water Treatment, and BOP areas.

You will work with Maintenance to deliver results, drive asset integrity, and optimize costs while contributing to a safer, more sustainable energy future. Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical Engineering degree (or are a Registered Mechanical Engineer) with 3+ years in turbine and auxiliary machinery, preferably including Coal

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or registered Mechanical Engineer.
• At least 3 years of experience with turbine and auxiliary equipment (static and rotating), ideally with Coal Fluidized Bed tech.
• Experience in asset management and plan improvement is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Contributes to asset management practices on site for long term integrity and cost optimization.
• Understands the capital investment process and undertakes investment appraisal analysis.
• Supports the site team in ensuring all necessary technical activities are incorporated within the outage programme.
• Performs mechanical equipment root cause analysis to support site teams and provide investigative expertise.

As Mechanical Sr. Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support in the Mechanical Equipments like STG, Coal Handling, Water Treatment Plant, and BOPplant area in support of operations and maintenance for the combined power plant assets, and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Maintenance team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Contributes to overall efforts in enhancing and implementing asset management practices on site for long term integrity and cost optimization.
• Understands the capital investment process and undertakes necessary investment appraisal analysis.
• Supports the site team in ensuring all necessary technical activities are incorporated within the outage programme.
• Performs Mechanical-related equipment related root cause analysis techniques to support the site teams in resolving difficult technical issues and to provide investigative expertise.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Registered Mechanical Engineer
• At least 3 years of experience with Turbine and Auxiliary including mechanical equipment (static and rotating) ideally with a specialism in Coal Fluidized Bed technology

Technical / Functional Skills:

• Experience in Plan Improvement, an advantage
