Job summary

MC Geometric Proportions, Inc. is seeking a Planner / Quantity Surveyor (Planning) to support project planning, cost estimating, quantity surveying, and schedule development. The role focuses on ensuring projects are planned efficiently and cost-effectively.

The incumbent will prepare BOQs, develop schedules, analyze drawings, monitor costs in pre-construction, and collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure project readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with PRC License.
• Minimum five years’ experience in planning, QS, estimating, and pre-construction.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, BOQ, cost estimating, and construction methodologies.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 or MS Project, AutoCAD, MS Office, and QS software.
• Excellent analytical, planning, coordination, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project quantity take-offs, cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Develop project schedules, work programs, and resource-loaded plans.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents for planning and estimating purposes.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and planned quantities during the pre-construction phase.
• Coordinate with the Planning, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure project readiness.
• Assist in value engineering, constructability reviews, and project planning strategies.
