Job summary

Cohu, Inc. is seeking a Planner/Scheduler in Laguna, Philippines to lead weekly production loading and capacity analysis. You will monitor KPIs, release work orders, and coordinate with departments to meet delivery commitments.

The role requires 2–3 years in supply chain management, strong Excel skills, and ERP/MRP knowledge. This is a full-time on-site position with focus on throughput and OEE improvements.

Qualifications

  • Two to three (2-3) years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Graduate of Business Administration or Engineering Courses or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical tools.
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead weekly/daily production loading, capacity analysis, loading plan and scheduling.
  • Analyze supplies and demand and review/release work orders for production.
  • Provide production plans and progress against capacity to align with shipment plans.
  • Coordinate with departments on parts/issues impacting delivery dates and run meetings as needed.
  • Update customer service with shipment status and recovery dates for rescheduled orders.

Job Description:



  1. Aligned with the Master Production Schedule, the Planner/Scheduler will lead the assigned factory in terms of weekly/ Daily production loading and capacity analysis, Loading Plan and scheduling, and Key Performance Indicator.

  2. Analyzes Supplies and Demand for all type of Orders and perform review and release of work order accordingly to the production floor.

  3. Provides weekly and Daily Production plan and progress against capacity of the Sales/Transfer Order to align with the weekly shipment plan by monitoring the progress and summarize the status of jobs and discuss to Daily Operation Review.

  4. Coordinates to concerned department for the parts/components that encountered problem that might affect delivery commitment dates by presiding meeting and/or providing the list of remaining jobs to meet the delivery.

  5. Provides update to customer service representative and/or Business Unit Planners for the latest shipment status in a daily basis to have the summary of order to ship by sending through email and provide recovery date for the sales order that needs to be rescheduled due to encountered problem.

  6. Order Management/Demand Fulfillment must secure the shipment aligned to commitment and work on exceptions of the order to mitigate the risk.

  7. Monitors factory Key performance indicator that will drive the factory performance. Will lead the factory team in terms of throughput, OEE, Mfg. Cycle Time and WIP management.

  8. Records all the following reasons of delays that affect the shipment on a weekly basis to determine the problem root causes that will be used in data analysis and corrective/preventive action.

  9. Reviews the list of WIP jobs to manage the necessary job in production by checking, closing and cleaning the inactive or no longer valid jobs for production.

  10. Maintains/Updates the Manufacturing Commit Date (MCD Date) to determine the scheduled ship date by populating this field in a timely manner.

  11. Interprets Engineering changes to determine new requirements for materials and correct BOM pick list by referring to BOM Revision Notice.

  12. Participates in Material Review Board on dispositioning the non-conforming materials.

  13. Handles RMA Orders (Returned Material Authorization) to secure the smooth process of return, rework and shipment to customer.

  14. Participates in 8D, 5S activity when needed and perform other duties as assigned.


Education

Graduate of Business Administration Courses/ Engineering Courses or with Equivalent Experience.


Experience

Two to three (2-3) years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
