Job summary

Luxoft Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced PL/SQL Developer for the Capital Markets domain. You will design, develop, and optimize SQL/PL-SQL solutions, participate in agile teams, and own full development lifecycles. Prior experience with treasury/markets applications and reporting is preferred.

The role emphasizes collaboration, technical documentation, and delivering high-quality, scalable financial systems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

PL/SQL Developer (Capital Markets industry)

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability, and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire and delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Key responsibilities

Designing and developing new projects and enhancements

Delivering and presenting proof-of-concept solutions to senior management

Working in teams following agile development practices

Being involved in Development, Continuous Integration, and time-boxed iterative development

Participating in and leading design workshops

Performing code reviews and reviews of technical documentation

Owning the full development lifecycle, including the delivery of quality technical materials for each project

Develop inter-entity reporting framework

Deliver major user enhancements & new reporting solutions

Perform code/data model reviews before production releases

About you

7+ years of strong hands-on experience in SQL / PL-SQL and multiple databases development plus other technical skills like Unix, bash scripting, Git bash, bit-bucket

Experience in banking domain with a good understanding of capital markets industry

Basic understanding of Financial products

Knowledge of the advanced SQL concept

Working in a very collaborative and agile team, you are expected to work, collaborate, negotiate, make trade-offs, and handle conflicts

Experience in supporting Treasury & Markets Applications (Murex, Kondor, Calypso, Sophis etc) (preferable)

Regulatory reporting background (preferable)

Murex Datamart Development experience (preferable)
