Job summary

Chiyoda Philippines Corporation is seeking a Piping Engineering professional to perform stress analysis and ensure compliance with project requirements. You will prepare documents, check line lists, and verify piping layouts against international codes.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the team, finalizing stress calculations, and generating stress reports while upholding QMS, ISMS and HSEMS standards. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Experience in stress analysis for petrochemical/refinery plants preferred.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to document findings clearly.
• Familiarity with P&ID, Plot Plan, Piping STD and applicable codes (ASME, ANSI) is essential.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare line condition sheet, checklist and other stress documents.

• Finalize the stress calculation with a good result and must meet all the project requirements and considerations.

• Control and monitor hold items to ensure timely resolution and compliance with project requirements and schedule.

• Perform Final consistency checks on Stress Iso vs. IFC ISO and related documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.

• Perform Stress Report Documentation

• Coordinate with other members of the group and work as one member of the team.

• Report/Inform/Consult for the status of the assigned work to superior in a timely manner.

• Execute project with compliance to schedule, required quality and quantity of deliverables.

• Implements Company QMS, ISMS, and HSEMS requirement within the department.

About you

• Understand Piping Engineering work scope / In and Out deliverables and demarcation among other disciplines.

• Understand the required documents for Piping Engineering such as P&ID, Plot Plan, Piping STD, Procedure, Line list, Specification and International Code (ASME, ANSI, etc.)

• Knowledge in the requirement of Plant construction, operation and maintenance for Piping Layout.

• Can interpret pipe route study, vendor drawing, and other information.

• Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA).

• Perform input, analysis, review and recommend solutions for calculations not meeting the applicable code and project specifications.

• Can use NAVISWORKS for coordination & checking purposes.

• Experienced in Stress Analysis work for Detail Engineering of Petrochemical, refinery, power and industrial plants.

• Bachelors/College Degree in any engineering related courses. Mechanical Engineering graduate is an advantage.

• Has a good communication and writing skills in English.
