Job summary

JFE Techno Manila, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design sludge incineration and water treatment facilities. You will create 3D plant models of equipment, piping, and supports, while ensuring constructability and safety.

Responsibilities include developing piping layouts, producing layout drawings and isometrics, and preparing material take-offs. Fresh graduates with PRC licensure are encouraged to apply, with a view to growing within a technical team.

Qualifications

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in the design and development of Sludge Incineration, Water Purification, and Wastewater Treatment facilities.

• Create accurate 3D plant models of equipment, piping, and structural components using industry standard design tools.

• Develop efficient piping routes and pipe support designs to ensure constructability, safety, and compliance with engineering standards.

• Produce detailed engineering documentation, including layout drawings, piping isometrics, and pipe support fabrication drawings.

• Prepare Material Take-off and Bills of Quantity.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of BS in Mechanical Eng’g; PRC Licensed Mechanical Engineer. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Having relevant experience in planning, design, and calculation of piping system, including modelling of equipment, piping supports and piping layout of Incineration, and Wastewater Treatment Facilities are required.

• Has background in using Autocad, EYECAD, E3D, Plant 3D, Inventor, Navisworks Manage or any related 3D software.

• Preferably familiar with design standard JIS.

• Knowledgeable, and have good skills in using Microsoft Office.

• Must be willing to work within a team of engineers to execute given task.

• Must be willing to learn the Japanese language to have a better communication with Japanese counterparts.
