CRESS MIRAI INC. invites you to join its Philippine hub for a Japanese engineering firm with over 60 years of excellence. We seek a Plant Piping CAD Operator to prepare 2D/3D piping drawings for plant equipment, including power and waste-to-energy projects, and to grow into a piping engineering specialist.

Work is hybrid with on-site onboarding to learn our standards; later, remote work may be available. Onsite onboarding helps align with engineering standards and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of drafting experience with 2D or 3D CAD, or at least 1 year in plant equipment drafting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D).
• Good written and spoken English.
• Conversational Japanese skills are a plus (not required).

Responsibilities

• Create 2D and 3D piping drawings based on design specs and requirements.

Job Description

You will be responsible for preparing CAD drawings for plant equipment, including power plants and waste-to-energy projects.

CAD Drafting Work

• Create 3D and 2D piping drawings based on established design specifications and engineering requirements.

• Prepare piping isometric drawings and piping support drawings.

• Perform various CAD drafting tasks related to plant piping and equipment engineering projects.

Career Development Path

• We expect this position to develop into a specialist role in plant piping engineering.

• In the future, you will be expected to take greater responsibility for the overall piping design process, including basic piping planning, layout coordination, and overall design leadership.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience

• At least 3 years of drafting experience using 2D or 3D CAD software, or at least 1 year of drafting experience related to plant equipment.

Software Skills

• Practical experience using AutoCAD (2D and/or 3D).

Communication

• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Language Plus

• Japanese proficiency (JLPT) is not required, but conversational Japanese skills are a significant advantage.
