Cancio Chiropractic Center in Manila, Philippines seeks a dedicated clinician to deliver high standards of patient care through thorough evaluations, assessments, and orthopedic examinations. The role centers on creating evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic pain, sports injuries, and rehabilitation.
You will implement plans, maintain SOAP documentation, educate patients, guide home care, and perform manual therapies and therapeutic exercises. Collaboration with Dr.
Deliver a high standard of patient care by conducting thorough subjective evaluations, physical assessments, and orthopedic examinations on patients.
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic pain management, sport injury and rehabilitation.
Implement and properly execute treatment plans and protocols by addressing patient needs in acute and chronic care through maintenance and wellness, with experience in sports-related conditions and performance recovery.
Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date SOAP documentation for each patient to track progress and make appropriate modifications to treatment plans.
Educate patients on their conditions, including signs and symptoms, and be able to explain treatment rationale and expected outcomes.
Provide guidance on proper self-care techniques and home management strategies for pain and injury management and prevention.
Prescribe and demonstrate appropriate stretching and therapeutic exercise programs for both in-clinic and home-based care, including specific sports related rehabilitation exercises.
Perform manual therapy techniques such as myofascial release, soft tissue mobilization, massage, and joint mobilization to improve function and reduce pain.
Collaborate and consult with Dr. Cancio and other healthcare professionals to achieve desired results for patients
Ensure proper use, care, and routine maintenance of therapeutic modalities and clinic equipment to maintain safety and functionality.
Actively pursue continuing education through self-directed study, seminars, workshops, and training programs, particularly in sports management and rehabilitation.
Provide support in non-clinical areas of the clinic as needed, including front desk duties, filing, inventory management, general housekeeping, and handling calls and patient inquiries.
Participate in the training and onboarding of new staff when required.
Encourage patient participation and adherence to prescribed rehabilitation programs.
Conduct patient follow-ups through text or other communication channels to monitor post-treatment progress and continuity of care.
Research relevant seminars, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Monitor and update clinic retail inventory, when applicable.
Ensure daily readiness of treatment rooms, including towels, gowns, EMS pads, wires, drawers, and other necessary supplies.
Regularly inspect EMS pads and wires to ensure proper functionality.
Monitor and update physical therapy inventory, including medical equipment and supplies.
Promptly report damaged equipment and depleted supplies to management.
Conduct physical therapy training sessions as assigned.
Maintain and update the rehabilitation database on a daily and monthly basis
