Job summary

FEU Diliman invites applications for lecturers to teach Physics and related Mathematics and Science courses. The role includes delivering introductory and laboratory Physics, and developing engaging course materials to uphold high academic standards.

Candidates should hold a master’s degree in Physics or a related field, with 1–3 years of tertiary teaching experience and LMS proficiency. A PhD is an advantage; LPT licensure is preferred where required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Physics Education, or a closely related field (Doctorate degree is an advantage).

• Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT) is preferred for institutions requiring licensure.

• At least 1–3 years of teaching experience at the college or university level is preferred.

• Experience in laboratory instruction is an advantage.

• Research experience and scholarly publications are desirable.

• Competent in teaching introductory college Physics, including both lecture and laboratory courses.

• Knowledge of Physics laboratory equipment, experimental procedures, and laboratory safety protocols.

• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

• Responsible, dedicated, and reliable, with a strong work ethic and commitment to academic excellence.

• Proficient in using learning management systems (LMS) and educational technologies.

• Teaching experience at the tertiary level is an advantage.

• Willing and qualified to teach Mathematics & Science courses, as may be assigned based on academic preparation and departmental needs.

• Applicants from engineering disciplines with a strong foundation in Physics and the capability to teach introductory Physics lecture and laboratory courses are also encouraged to apply.
