Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Zoology, Biology, Animal Biology, Wildlife Biology, Ecology, Marine Biology, or a closely related field.

• Doctorate degree in Zoology or a related discipline is an advantage.

• Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT) is preferred for institutions requiring licensure.

• At least 1-3 years of teaching experience at the college or university level is preferred.

• Experience in laboratory instruction, field research, or biological specimen handling is an advantage.

• Research experience and scholarly publications are highly desirable.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong knowledge of Zoology, Animal Physiology, Ecology, Evolution, Genetics, Taxonomy, and Biodiversity.

• Proficiency in laboratory techniques, biological specimen preparation, and field research methodologies.

• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and ethical standards in scientific research.

• Strong analytical, scientific, and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and educational technologies.

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
