Job summary

Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Manila is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 1-year contract to join our Physical Therapy Department. You will document patient data, evaluations, progress notes and treatment programs, and perform PT procedures as prescribed by doctors.

You will provide home instructions, edit notes, assist with internship training, supervise interns, transport in-patients as needed, and help maintain clinical data. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to document patient data, evaluations and progress notes.
• Experience delivering PT procedures per physician orders.
• Ability to supervise interns and support clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Keeps accurate records of patient data, PT evaluation, progress notes and treatment programs.
• Carries out physical therapy procedures as prescribed by the physiatrist or doctors and external physiatrists.
• Clears with the physiatrist all direct referrals before carrying out prescriptions.
• Gives home instructions for follow-up therapy and self-care activities as prescribed by the physiatrist.
• Accomplishes all clinical data referred to Physical Therapy.
• Transports in-patient from room to PMRD and vice-versa.
• Helps the senior physical therapist in internship training implementation.
• Provides clinical supervision to interns and teaches PT principles and skills.
• Edits initial evaluation, re-evaluation, progress and discharge notes and endorsements of the assigned intern.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Keeps accurate and complete records of patient’s data, PT evaluation, progress notes and treatment programs.

• Carries out physical therapy procedures as prescribed by the physiatrist or OLLH orthopedic doctors and accredited physiatrists outside of OLLH.

• Clears with the physiatrist all direct referrals before carrying out prescriptions.

• Gives home instructions for follow-up therapy program and self-care activities as prescribed by the physiatrist.

• Accomplishes all clinical data which are directly referred to Physical Therapy.

• Transports in-patient from room to PMRD and vice-versa.

• Helps the senior physical therapist in the implementation of the internship training program.

• Provides clinical supervision to the interns and teaches PT principles, theories and skills to the physical therapy intern assigned to him/her.

• Edits the initial evaluation, re-evaluation, progress and discharge notes and endorsements of the assigned intern to him/her.

CONTRACT LENGTH:

• 1 year

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a Registered Physical Therapist (valid PRC license)

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
