Job summary

TASQ Staffing Solutions seeks a Phlebotomy Team Leader (Laguna) to provide administrative oversight of phlebotomy staff and ensure safe, accurate specimen collection. The role coordinates schedules, drives performance, and maintains compliance with DOH, ISO 15189, and JCI standards across the unit.

The candidate will lead training and competency development while promoting quality and patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, nursing, or another health-related discipline.
• Licensed Medical Technologist (PRC) or relevant certification.
• Certifications in Leadership, Team Supervision, or Healthcare Management; ISO 15189 or Phlebotomy Training.
• Minimum 3–5 years of phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience.
• At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
• Strong supervisory and team management skills.
• Knowledge of clinical standards for specimen collection and lab quality systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation systems.

The Phlebotomy Team Leader is responsible for the administrative supervision and operational oversight of all phlebotomy staff. This role ensures the consistent delivery of safe, accurate, and patient-centered specimen collection services across all hospital areas. The team leader coordinates schedules, manages performance, ensures compliance with regulatory standards (DOH, ISO 15189, JCI), and fosters a culture of quality and service within the Phlebotomy Unit.
