Job summary

AFRY Finland is seeking an HR Operations & Payroll Specialist to manage day-to-day HR processes and the full employee lifecycle for the Philippines. The role focuses on accurate end-to-end payroll processing and compliance with local regulations.

You will independently handle payroll calculations, tax withholdings, and statutory reporting, while supporting recruitment when needed and collaborating with Finance and external providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in HR Operations, with payroll, employee administration, and recruitment.
• Proven hands-on experience independently managing end-to-end Philippine payroll.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine payroll and withholding tax computation.
• Strong working knowledge of BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, 13th-month pay, final pay, and other payroll requirements.
• Hands-on recruitment experience: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer support, onboarding.
• Thorough knowledge of Philippine labor and employment laws and regulations.
• Experience managing HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
• High accuracy and confidentiality in handling payroll data.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage end-to-end Philippine payroll process, including preparation, computation, validation, and reporting.
• Perform payroll and withholding tax calculations with hands-on validation.
• Calculate salaries, allowances, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and 13th-month pay.
• Compute statutory deductions and contributions (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
• Conduct payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies; respond to employee queries.
• Handle payroll-related filings, year-end requirements, and documentation.
• Coordinate with Finance, banks, external payroll providers, and government agencies.
• Manage HR tasks across the employee lifecycle and provide recruitment support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and regulations; maintain accurate records.
• Support HR and payroll reporting, audits, and other operational requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
