Job summary

GARROD HEALTH is seeking a Pharmacist Manager to lead our specialty pharmacy operations in the Philippines. You will supervise pharmacists, technicians, and support staff while ensuring top-tier patient care and regulatory compliance.

You will develop staff training, optimize workflows, manage inventory and budget, and foster partnerships with healthcare providers and insurers to enhance services and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Pharmacy.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising staff.
  • PRC ID as a pharmacist (Required).
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel 25%.
  • Bachelor's degree (Required).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support personnel.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff to ensure high levels of competency and performance.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the specialty pharmacy, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all processes.
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring the availability of necessary medications while minimizing waste.
  • Ensure that patients receive high-quality care and counseling on their specialty medications.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
  • Ensure the pharmacy complies with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
  • Monitor and manage the specialty pharmacy's budget, including cost control and revenue optimization.
  • Develop and implement specialty pharmacy programs and services that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
