We are looking for a detail-oriented Licensed Pharmacist who bridges the gap between pharmaceutical expertise and data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for a professional with strong regulatory knowledge and advanced Excel skills who enjoys optimizing supplier coordination, price monitoring, and compliance management.
Analyze incoming prescription orders for appropriate drug selection, strength, dosage form, and duration. Perform comprehensive Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR) to identify adverse drug interactions, contraindications, allergies, or therapeutic duplications.
Oversee or perform the accurate measuring, compounding, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceuticals (sterile and non-sterile).
Educate patients on medication schedules, proper storage, administration techniques, potential side effects, and managing missed doses. Recommend over-the-counter (OTC) medications and medical devices for common health issues.
Consult directly with prescribing physicians, nurses, and specialists to optimize drug therapies, suggest cost-effective alternatives, or resolve dosage discrepancies.
Direct the workflow of pharmacy technicians and assistants, verifying their preparation, entry, and labeling of medications.
Maintain strict compliance with local, state, and federal drug laws. Control inventory, handle secure logging of controlled substances, and oversee the proper disposal of expired pharmaceuticals.
Must be a Licensed Pharmacist (RPh).
1-2 years of pharmacist experience (regulatory or supply chain experience is a plus).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential. Candidates must be comfortable with data organization and reporting.
Familiarity with DPRI guidelines, FDA compliance, and GDP.
