Job summary

KPFC Health Network is seeking a detail-oriented Licensed Pharmacist to bridge pharmaceutical expertise with data-driven decision-making in a regulatory-focused role. The ideal candidate has strong Excel skills and comfort with data reporting.

You will analyze prescriptions, perform DURs, oversee compounding and labeling, educate patients, and collaborate with clinicians to optimize therapies while ensuring strict regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Pharmacist (RPh).
• 1–2 years of pharmacist experience (regulatory or supply chain experience is a plus).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and data organization for reporting.
• Familiarity with DPRI guidelines, FDA compliance, and GDP.

Responsibilities

• Analyze incoming prescription orders for drug selection and dose, perform DURs for interactions and contraindications.
• Oversee measuring, compounding, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceuticals (sterile and non-sterile).
• Educate patients on medication schedules, storage, administration, and side effects; recommend OTC meds.
• Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize therapies and resolve dosage discrepancies.
• Direct workflow of pharmacy technicians and assistants, ensuring accurate entry and labeling.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal drug laws; manage controlled substances and disposal.
