We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist Staff member to join our team. Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
- Valid and active pharmacy license in the state of employment.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting (community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, etc.) is preferred, but not required for entry-level roles.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, pharmaceutical laws, and therapeutic guidelines.
- Ability to interpret and verify prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain medication instructions clearly to patients and healthcare providers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications and managing patient records.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with professionalism.
- Proficient in the use of pharmacy software, inventory management systems, and other related technology.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify potential drug interactions and adverse effects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service and patient safety.
Licensing and Certifications:
- Valid and active pharmacist license as required by the state of employment.
- Certification in immunization administration is a plus (if applicable).
