Job summary

Outsmart Workforce Inc. is seeking a Results-driven Sales & Business Development Manager to grow footprint within the Philippine freight forwarding industry, focusing on import shipments bound for the United States.

The ideal candidate has an established network of freight forwarders, NVOCCs, and customs brokers, plus strong revenue-generation capabilities. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with decision-makers, and execute a sales strategy to win USA-import lane business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics/Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of sales/business development experience within freight forwarding or logistics.
• An active, transferable network within the Philippine freight forwarding industry—required.
• Working knowledge of Incoterms, FCL/LCL, NVOCC operations, and US import/export documentation.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities with Philippine freight forwarders and logistics companies
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers within the freight forwarding industry
• Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting the Philippines-to-USA import trade lane
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and pricing structures tailored to client needs
• Negotiate commercial terms and close contracts to meet revenue targets
• Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting records using CRM tools
• Stay current on US import compliance requirements relevant to client conversations
