Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Logistics or related field.
• Experience in telemarketing, sales, lead generation or freight forwarding is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident and professional when speaking with clients.
• Strong persuasion, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Results-oriented and able to meet targets.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding, shipping or logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential clients in import/export, trading, and manufacturing sectors.
• Make outbound calls, emails, and other sales outreach to prospective customers.
• Introduce the company's freight forwarding and logistics services.
• Qualify leads based on shipping requirements, volume, routes, and business potential.
• Schedule meetings or appointments with qualified prospects for the sales team.
• Maintain and update the prospect and lead database.
• Follow up with prospects and nurture leads until they are ready for a sales discussion.
• Coordinate with Sales and Operations to provide appropriate logistics solutions.
• Monitor competitor activities and market opportunities.
• Achieve assigned lead generation, appointment-setting and business development targets.
