Job summary

AIRGUARD AND PESTGUARD PROFESSIONAL OPC in Metro Manila seeks a Pest Control Technician to inspect customers’ premises, identify infestations and recommend effective treatments. You will advise clients on options, safety, and preventive measures while applying chemical, mechanical, or biological methods per product instructions.

The role requires a high school diploma or technical training, experience in pest control preferred, and compliance with FDA or LTO accreditations.

Qualifications

• Relevant Experience: Experience as a Pest Control Technician or in a similar role preferred.
• Educational Attainment: High school diploma, vocational/technical training, or equivalent.
• Trainings Required: Attended training related to pest biology, treatment methods, and safe handling of chemicals.
• Licenses/Certifications: with FDA or LTO Accreditation

Responsibilities

• Inspect customers’ premises to identify pest infestations and assess treatment requirements.
• Determine and recommend the appropriate type of treatment for each pest problem.
• Advise customers on treatment options, preventive measures, and long-term solutions.
• Apply pest control methods (chemical, mechanical, or biological) following safety procedures and product instructions.
• Adjust chemical mixtures based on the size and severity of infestation, ensuring proper application.
• Operate fumigation and spraying equipment safely, always wearing protective gear (PPE).
• Install and monitor pest control devices such as traps, baits, and barriers.
• Respond promptly to customer service requests and maintain clear communication.
• Coordinate with office staff to schedule and manage service visits.
• Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork after each job.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles are properly maintained and serviceable.
• Stay updated on new pest control techniques, equipment, and regulations.
