Job summary

ACCIONA Energía is seeking experienced permitting professionals to support renewable energy project development in the Philippines. The role focuses on securing national and local permits, coordinating with government agencies, and ensuring timely progression from development to construction.

Responsibilities include managing permit timelines, maintaining trackers and documentation, and close collaboration with internal teams to align permitting activities with project milestones.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of permitting experience in energy or large-scale development.
• Strong understanding of Philippine national and local permits.
• Experience coordinating with government agencies and multi-step approvals.
• Excellent organizational, documentation and tracking skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and government offices as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day permitting activities to secure national and local permits and approvals.
• Monitor permit applications, schedules, and deadlines to ensure timely submission and follow-up.
• Identify permitting risks, delays, and bottlenecks, and propose mitigation actions.
• Maintain accurate permitting trackers, dashboards, and documentation for all active projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams (development, engineering, land, construction) to align permitting requirements with project timelines.
• Liaise with government agencies and regulatory bodies (DOE, ERC, NGCP, DENR, NCIP, DAR, LGUs).
• Support preparation and submission of permit applications and compliance documentation.
• Ensure continuous monitoring of regulatory requirements and updates affecting project development.
• Provide regular reporting on permitting status, risks, and upcoming milestones.
