GrowthAssistant, LLC is seeking a Performance UGC Video Editor (Paid Social) to edit UGC-style ads for Meta and TikTok. You will follow strategist briefs with precision, add captions and licensed music, and keep a high-volume production flow while ensuring all exports meet brand standards.

The role requires fluency in paid social language, meticulous copy and timing, and proficiency in Premiere Pro or CapCut. This is a fully remote, global team position with performance incentives.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of short-form paid social ads for Meta and/or TikTok personally edited
• Native fluency in the language of social ads; understands ad specs and licensing requirements
• Meticulous attention to copy, branding, captions and audio on every export
• Proficient in Premiere Pro, CapCut or comparable tools; fast turnaround in high-volume work
• Takes timestamped revision notes and applies them on first pass

Responsibilities

• Edit UGC-style performance ads for Meta from briefs with exact hook, cuts, pacing, on-screen copy, captions and music
• Add captions, on-screen copy and licensed-free music to every export with zero omissions
• Build inside Meta safe-zone templates and run QA checks before delivery; implement notes in one revision round
• Maintain a high volume of ad variations and communicate status, ETAs and blockers daily in Slack

The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Performance UGC Video Editor (Paid Social) to join a fast-growing DTC consumer brand in the personal care and lifestyle space - editing UGC-style performance ads for Meta from strategist briefs, executing each brief with precision, and keeping a high volume of ad variations moving without letting quality slip. You’ll paste copy word for word, hit called-out timestamps, apply closed captions and licensed-free music to every export, build inside established Meta safe-zone templates, and run a QA checklist on every cut before delivering - all in a fast-paced, high-volume paid social environment where taking candid feedback and applying it the first time is the standard. This role is built for an editor who is fluent in the language of paid social, meticulous about the details that determine whether an ad actually runs clean, and energized rather than overwhelmed by a full production pipeline.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

• UGC Ad Editing from Brief: Edit UGC-style performance ads for Meta from strategist briefs - executing hook, cuts, pacing, on-screen copy, captions, and music exactly as directed; paste copy word for word, hit called-out timestamps, and follow all highlighted direction in the brief without interpretation drift.
• Closed Captions, Copy & Audio: Add closed captions, on-screen copy, and licensed-free music to every deliverable - no empty or silent exports; ensure correct brand spelling and exact copy on every cut with zero tolerance for caption or audio omissions.
• Safe-Zone Template Execution & QA: Build inside established Meta safe-zone templates so text and key elements are never cropped; run the QA checklist on every cut before delivery; apply strategist revisions from timestamped notes in a single revision round.
• High-Volume Production & Communication: Keep a high volume of ad variations moving without quality slipping; post status, ETAs, and blockers daily in Slack so the strategy team always has visibility on the pipeline.

What You Bring

• Portfolio of Paid Social Ads: A portfolio of short-form paid social ads for Meta and/or TikTok that you personally edited, reflecting the quality and output you’ll deliver daily - this is a required submission for consideration.
• Paid Social Fluency: Native fluency in the language of social ads - understands concepts like "negative space", "slow zoom", and "hook in two seconds" without needing explanation; working knowledge of Meta ad specs, safe zones, and music licensing requirements.
• Meticulous Attention to Detail: Exact copy execution, correct brand spelling, captions, and audio on every export - the kind of detail orientation that catches issues before they ship, not after.
• Professional Editing Suite Proficiency: Proficient in Premiere Pro, CapCut, or a comparable professional editing tool; comfortable maintaining fast, reliable turnaround in a high-volume environment.
• Feedback Receptivity: Takes candid, timestamped revision notes and applies them the first time - no re-explaining, no re-revision cycles from the same note.

Bonus Points if:

• You are bilingual in English and Spanish.
• You have experience editing ads for wellness, supplement, or DTC consumer brands.
• You have basic After Effects or motion graphics experience.

Sign-on Bonus:

$300 bonus upon successful completion of the first 90 days of employment
