Job summary

ING Hubs Philippines is seeking a Performance Test Engineer to join our Shared Technology organization. You will design and execute performance strategies to ensure ING's enterprise tech remains fast, stable, and scalable under pressure.

You will work with engineers, architects, product partners, and platform teams to advance performance engineering across critical banking services. You will build scalable test frameworks with Gatling and Java, analyze system behavior, and drive improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in performance testing and engineering roles.
• Strong ability to design and run Gatling/Java-based tests for enterprise apps.
• Experience with CI/CD integration and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests.
• Build scalable performance test frameworks using Gatling and Java.
• Analyze bottlenecks and provide improvements for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with development, QA, infra, and platform teams across the lifecycle.
• Define benchmarks, KPIs, and SLAs; report findings to stakeholders.
