Job summary

Unity Communications is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Documentation & Systems Specialist to support a Paycom to UKG transition. You will review, organize, and transfer payroll and employee documents between systems, download from Paycom, save in SharePoint, and attach records in UKG.

Ideal candidates have payroll or HR operations experience, hands-on Paycom and UKG proficiency, and strong document management skills with strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in Payroll, HR Operations, or Payroll Administration.
• Hands-on experience with Paycom.
• Hands-on experience with UKG Payroll / UKG Pro.
• Experience using Microsoft SharePoint for document management and organization.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat or similar PDF/document management tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential employee and payroll information.

Responsibilities

• Download payroll and employee-related documents from Paycom.
• Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and proper categorization.
• Organize and save documents in designated SharePoint folders according to established naming and filing standards.
• Upload and attach the appropriate documents to employee records in UKG.
• Use Adobe Acrobat to review, organize, combine, or make basic adjustments to PDF documents as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized records throughout the payroll system transition.
• Identify missing, duplicate, or incorrectly filed documents and escalated issues as needed.
• Follow established procedures and guidelines for document handling and data transfer.
• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling payroll and employee information.
• Track assigned work and ensure documents are processed accurately and within project timelines.
• Provide administrative support related to the payroll system transition as needed.
