Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring a Payroll Officer to support the payroll function across the business. This hybrid role covers end-to-end payroll, including contractor payroll and commissions, with focus on accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate maintains payroll calendars, reconciles data, and assists with month-end and year-end activities. Location includes Eastwood, Quezon City and Clark, Pampanga, with a day-shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience handling payroll processes across multiple entities is preferred.
• Strong data accuracy and reconciliation skills are required.
• Ability to maintain payroll calendars and reports with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Excel and standard payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with running the payroll function across the business.
• Support end-to-end payroll processing including contractor payroll and commissions.
• Ensure payroll data accuracy and compliance; maintain data tables and YTD reconciliations.
• Prepare month-end payroll activities and payroll-related GL reconciliations.
• Assist with year-end payroll processes and audits as needed.

Your Role

To assist with running the payroll function across the business and support the Payroll Team and Payroll Team Leader.

Accountabilities

• Support the end-to-end payroll function for Stellar, including:
  • Monthly internal payroll
  • Weekly contractor payroll
  • Consultant commissions
• Support the administration of payroll data to ensure:
  • Processes are accurate and compliant
  • Data tables are maintained
  • Payroll data reconciles on a rolling YTD (Year-to-Date) basis
• Ensure all pay runs are:
  • Prepared accurately
  • Properly documented with backup information
  • Accompanied by all required reports, which are saved accordingly
• Support the preparation and processing of payroll month-end activities, ensuring payroll data reconciles YTD
• Support the preparation and processing of payroll creditors, including:
  • PAYG
  • Superannuation
  • Child Support
• Assist the Finance Team in reconciling all payroll-related GL (General Ledger) accounts each month
• Assist with the reconciliation and execution of payroll year-end processes within required timeframes
• Assist with payroll audits of employee contracts as directed by the Payroll Specialist and/or Group
