Job summary

UNIJOBS INTERNATIONAL MANPOWER SERVICES CORPORATION is seeking a payroll professional to lead accurate and timely payroll processing across the Philippines, Honduras, and India, handling salaries, bonuses, deductions, and statutory requirements via Deel.

You will validate hours, monitor payroll calendars, ensure regulatory filings (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, HDMF), and maintain a secure, audit-ready payroll environment while collaborating with HR, Finance, and Operations to meet deadlines.

Job description

• Lead and oversee accurate and timely payroll processing, including salaries, bonuses, commissions, and statutory deductions.


• Review and validate weekly and semi-monthly payroll for employees in the Philippines, Honduras, and India, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.


• Manage and validate employee work hours and payroll inputs through the Deel payroll platform.


• Monitor payroll calendars and coordinate closely with HR, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure payroll deadlines are consistently met.


• Validate BVP hours against actual rendered hours and system records to ensure accurate payroll computation.


• Review and manage payroll disputes, including validation, computation, and resolution.


• Manage payroll-related statutory compliance and filings, including BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and HDMF requirements.


• Prepare, review, and submit BIR Form 2316, Alphalist Schedules, and DAT files.


• Ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and secure handling of employee payroll and compensation information.


• Serve as the primary payroll contact for executive leadership, providing guidance on payroll operations, compliance, employee concerns, and process-related matters.


• Establish and maintain internal controls and audit-ready payroll processes.


• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline payroll operations through automation, process enhancement, and payroll best practices.


• Manage HMO enrollment and deletion, including validation and reconciliation of HMO billing.


• Collaborate with HR and Finance on payroll funding requirements, reconciliations, adjustments, and payroll-related financial matters.


• Develop and implement payroll processes, controls, and service standards to support organizational goals and compliance requirements.
