MVP Asia Pacific Inc. in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Specialist / Payroll Coordinator to manage bi-weekly payroll, review time records, and ensure accurate payroll entries.

Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time.
Review employee time records, payroll information, deductions, and adjustments.
Maintain payroll records and ensure accurate payroll-related entries.
Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll questions.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure payroll information is accurate and complete.
Calculate commission payable and payroll amounts for many employees with different compensation plans.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Record, review, and reconcile financial transactions.
Perform bank and account reconciliations.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and accounting schedules.
Review transactions for accuracy and completeness.
Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and other accounting-related projects.
Support the accounting department with additional responsibilities as needed.
Utilize Microsoft Excel extensively for accounting analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and data management.
Create and maintain spreadsheets using advanced formulas and functions.
Work with XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables, and other Excel tools.
Analyze large data sets, identify discrepancies, and provide accurate reporting.
Improve and maintain accounting spreadsheets and processes.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
Proven experience in multiple areas of accounting, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Prior experience processing payroll, preferably.
Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge and hands-on experience.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial transactions.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop, preferably QuickBooks Enterprise.
