Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll, ensure accuracy in reporting, and handle related tax paperwork in a hybrid work setup at Eastwood City, QC. The role supports employees and coordinates with the Finance team to ensure timely payroll operations.

Ideal candidates will have strong payroll software skills, high attention to detail, and experience with BIR Form 2316. The position offers day shift and opportunities for career growth within a diverse, inclusive

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll processing experience including taxation (BIR Form 2316).
• Strong knowledge of government-mandated benefits and loan reporting.
• High accuracy in financial reporting and journal entries.
• Ability to handle ad hoc administrative tasks and support departmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll with supporting reports and journal entries.
• Prepare final pay computations and BIR Form 2316.
• Respond to payroll queries and support employees.
• Generate government contributions, loan and withholding tax reports.
• Perform year-end reporting and routine clerical duties.
• Collaborate with the Payroll Manager/VP of Finance to achieve department goals.

Your Role:

As a Payroll Specialist, you will:

• Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll, complete with supporting reports and journal entries.
• Prepare final pay computations and BIR Form 2316.
• Respond to assigned payroll queries and provide support to employees.
• Generate government contribution, loan, and withholding tax reports.
• Perform year-end reporting and a variety of routine office or clerical duties.
• Collaborate actively with the team to achieve departmental goals as directed by the Payroll Manager or VP of Finance.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing and taxation (BIR Form 2316).
• Strong knowledge of government-mandated benefits and loan reporting.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and journal entries.
• Ability to handle ad hoc administrative tasks and support departmental goals.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Experience in a BPO or high-volume managed services environment.
  
• Proficiency in payroll software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills for handling payroll-related inquiries.
