Job summary

CloudPay is seeking a Payments Onboarding Specialist in a hybrid role based in Makati. You will drive seamless onboarding for new customers, coordinating with project managers, internal teams, and external providers to implement payment services for payrolls and go-live readiness.

You will manage multiple projects, ensure accurate configurations, and help establish standard service scopes while maintaining strong customer focus and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SaaS, Payroll, Treasury, or Payment implementations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers, partners, providers, and internal stakeholders across multiple countries.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking abilities with great attention to detail.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills to manage customer requests and escape appropriately.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring Payment Services are set up for all payrolls and ready for go-live.
• Work closely with Project Managers, internal colleagues, external providers, and customers to complete tasks per the project plan.
• Attend and lead project meetings (internal and external) as required.
• Maintain and update project records and implementation documentation accurately and timely.
• Define standard services with Customers, identify out-of-scope requirements, and escalate when needed.
• Establish and validate employee bank details, ensuring configurations are completed and tested.
• Obtain statutory and third‑party payment requirements and ensure configurations are within timelines.
• Create annual calendars to ensure payments are executed accurately and on time.
• Facilitate a smooth handover of Customers to Payments Operations.

What Makes This Role Exciting

The Payments Onboarding Specialist plays a key role in delivering a seamless onboarding experience for new customers. Working as part of a cross‑functional project team, the role is focused on ensuring payment services are implemented efficiently while delivering a first‑class customer experience.

Main Responsibilities

• Support multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring Payment Services are set up for all payrolls and ready for go‑live.
• Work closely with Project Managers, internal colleagues, external providers, and customers to ensure all implementation tasks are completed in line with the agreed project plan.
• Attend and lead project meetings (internal and external) as required.

• Clearly define the standard scope of services with Customers, identify any out‑of‑scope requirements, and escape where necessary.
• Establish and validate employee bank details, ensuring all configurations are completed and tested successfully.
• Obtain statutory and third‑party payment requirements from Customers and ensure all configurations are completed within agreed timelines.
• Create annual calendars to ensure all payments are executed accurately and on time.
• Facilitate a smooth and effective handover of Customers to the Payments Operations team.

This role follows hybrid work arrangement with 1x/week RTO in Makati. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 3PM to 12MN.

Experience Needed For This Role

• Experience supporting SaaS, Payroll, Treasury, or Payment implementations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, partners, providers, and internal stakeholders across multiple countries.
• Strong organisational, time‑management, and multi‑tasking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, including the ability to manage customer requests and escape appropriately.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to sharing information and working across teams.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new systems, processes, and ways of working.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability and confidence to quickly learn and adopt new systems
