Job summary

Vexora is seeking a proactive Payment Operations Specialist in Manila to support merchant onboarding, payment channel operations, and partner coordination. You will monitor transactions, resolve issues, and work with Sales, Product, R&D and Compliance to ensure smooth operations across markets.

You will analyze transaction data, prepare reports, and contribute to onboarding new payment products and market launches. Strong English and willingness to learn Mandarin are valued in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• 2–3 years in Payment Operations, Merchant Operations, FinTech, E-commerce, Internet, or related fields.
• Strong communication and cross-team coordination across internal and external partners.
• Professional English; Mandarin language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end onboarding for merchants including setup and go-live coordination.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Payment Operations Specialist to support the daily operation of our payment business. This role is responsible for merchant onboarding, payment channel operations, partner coordination, transaction monitoring, and issue resolution to ensure stable payment performance and excellent merchant experience.

Working closely with Sales, Product, R&D and Compliance teams , you will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting business growth across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for merchants, including account setup, product integration support, documentation review, and go-live coordination.
• Monitor payment transaction performance, identify operational issues, and work with internal and external stakeholders to improve payment success rates and overall service stability.
• Investigate and resolve payment-related issues, including transaction exceptions, settlement discrepancies, and merchant inquiries in a timely manner.
• Coordinate daily operations with banking partners, payment service providers (PSPs), and other external partners to ensure smooth business execution.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, R&D and Compliance teams to facilitate project implementation and operational improvements.
• Prepare operational reports and analyze transaction data to identify trends, operational risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation and continuously improve internal processes and workflows.
• Support new payment products, channels, and market launches as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• 2–3 years of experience in Payment Operations, Merchant Operations, Customer Success, FinTech, E-commerce, Internet, or related industries.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across internal teams and external partners.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently with a strong sense of ownership.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Mandarin language proficiency is a plus.
• Experience with payment service providers (PSPs), acquiring, cross-border payments, or digital financial services is preferred.
