Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Payment Lifecycle Analyst to lead the transaction screening function for sanctions and anti-money laundering. You will guide day-to-day screening activities, escalate issues promptly, and strengthen quality controls while partnering with compliance and business stakeholders.

You will oversee a team of screening operators and drive continuous improvements. You will manage screening of payments and SWIFT messages, apply sound judgment, and ensure timely case

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in banking or financial services operations.
• Knowledge of SWIFT and international payment conventions.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with clear documentation of decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to present to stakeholders.
• Collaborative approach with business and compliance partners.
• Good time management with ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail in high-volume, high-pressure environments.
• Flexibility to work shifts (day/night) and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Screen payments and SWIFT messages in line with screening policies.
• Identify, refer, and escalate suspect transactions within defined timelines.
• Apply judgment to sanctions and AML screening cases.
• Develop and implement improvements to procedures and screening programs.
• Perform quality control and QA reviews on sampled work.
• Provide reporting on volumes, trends, and risks to leadership.
• Directly supervise screening operators and manage workload coverage.
• Coordinate with internal partners to support case management.
• Lead improvement projects to enhance quality and efficiency.
