Job summary

Author Health in Makati is seeking a full-time patient support specialist who will be the main contact for patients and caregivers, handling scheduling, billing questions, medication follow-ups, and urgent needs in a HIPAA-compliant, compassionate manner.

You’ll work onsite in Makati or Pasig, align with US business hours, and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure a smooth patient journey from initial contact through ongoing care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year allied healthcare degree.
• At least 1 year of CSR experience for US healthcare accounts.
• Experience in high-volume inbound support or customer service.
• Strong commitment to HIPAA and internal policies.

Responsibilities

• Handle all inbound patient inquiries as the primary contact.
• Adhere to inbound call procedures and scripts for consistency.
• Triage scheduling, rescheduling, insurance/billing questions, and urgent needs.
• Support appointment management and verify times or rebook as needed.
• Assist with medication status questions and script resending to pharmacies.
• Document call details in CRM and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with care teams for seamless patient transitions.
• Maintain availability during scheduled shifts and provide engagement feedback.
