Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin or medical-related field; fresh graduates welcome.
• Experience in hospital/clinic billing or patient services preferred.
• Familiarity with SOA preparation and patient billing systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and hospital information systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and generate accurate Statements of Account (SOA) for patients.
• Encode, review, and verify patient charges for accuracy.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and billing staff on billable services.
• Review records to identify discrepancies and missing information.
• Explain SOA details to patients and answer billing inquiries.
• Ensure timely issuance of SOAs to avoid delays.
• Maintain patient records and billing documentation.
• Assist in account reconciliation with billing and finance teams.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information per policy.
• Support cashiering and collection functions when needed.
