Job summary

CIIT College of Arts and Technology Inc. seeks Part-Time UI/UX Design Instructors to join our Bachelor of Multimedia Arts program. The role welcomes practitioners with hands-on UI/UX, product design, interaction design, or related fields to mentor students and share industry knowledge.

Facilitate lectures, lead discussions, guide user research and prototyping, and help students craft usable, visually engaging interfaces while connecting classroom concepts to real-world practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Multimedia Arts, UI/UX Design, or related field.
• Industry experience in UI/UX, product or interaction design.
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design and UX processes.
• Experience in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools.
• Strong visual design understanding for digital interfaces.
• Portfolio of UI/UX or digital design projects preferred.
• Passion for mentoring students and sharing practical industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities on UI/UX design.
• Share industry practices, workflows, and real-world design experiences.
• Guide students in user research, personas, flows, wireframes, and prototyping.
• Teach creation of intuitive, engaging, user-centered interfaces.
• Lead usability testing and apply user feedback in projects.
• Provide constructive feedback and mentorship throughout design process.
• Guide students in developing and presenting UI/UX projects.
• Foster collaborative, learner-centered classroom environment.
• Bridge UI/UX concepts with current industry practices.
