Job summary

CIIT College of Arts and Technology Inc. in Quezon City is seeking a Short Course Instructor to share your industry expertise with students for 4 hours every Saturday over a period of 3 to 6 months.

You will collaborate with the Center for Professional Development Team to shape the curriculum and ensure it remains innovative and relevant, while guiding students through classroom instruction, assessments, and final projects. This role emphasizes hands-on teaching in Full Stack Web Development.

Qualifications

• Must be available to teach on Saturdays, from 9AM to 1PM or 1PM to 5PM.
• At least 2 years of professional industry experience in Full Stack Web Development.
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, MySQL, and Laravel.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Assertive, passionate, and accommodating in class.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Instruction Development: conduct classroom instruction and lesson planning aligned with the syllabus.
• Collaborate with the Center for Professional Development Team to develop curriculum, instructional methods, and class operations.
• Demonstrate mastery of the content and teaching skills of the subject being taught.
• Student Assessment: determine training needs, provide learning materials and activities, and give constructive feedback.
• Administer assessments to gauge progress and assist students in building final projects.
• Classroom Management: supervise students' use of tools and software, promote critical thinking and positive attitudes.
• Administrative Tasks: prepare and maintain student-related reports and records when applicable.
