Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and student-centered Part-Time Motion Graphics Instructor to teach students the fundamentals of motion design, animation, and visual storytelling. The instructor will guide students in using Adobe After Effects to create motion graphics for advertising, digital content, branding, and other creative applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Multimedia Arts, Animation, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Communication, or a related field
• With teaching, freelance, or industry experience in motion graphics, animation, multimedia design, graphic design, or related creative fields
• Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects
• Strong understanding of motion design principles, including timing, rhythm, pacing, composition, and visual hierarchy
• Knowledge of animation techniques for typography, shapes, images, and graphic elements
• Experience creating motion graphics for advertising, branding, social media, digital content, explainer videos, or other creative applications
• Ability to demonstrate and explain creative and technical processes clearly to students
• Experience developing creative projects or professional motion graphics portfolios
• Strong visual storytelling and creative problem-solving skills
• Passion for mentoring college students and developing their creativity, technical skills, and design thinking
