Tap Growth ai is seeking a Network Firewall Engineer – Tier II to manage and optimize Palo Alto firewalls within a large enterprise network. You will handle incident response, policy reviews, and change implementations in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 5–7 years of firewall experience, PCNSE/PCNSA certification, and strong analytical skills to diagnose complex security issues.

Qualifications

• PCNSE or PCNSA certification is required.
• 5 to 7 years hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and related networking.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to resolve complex network security issues.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Networks firewalls within a complex enterprise environment.
• Monitor and respond to network security events and incidents as a Tier II resource.
• Perform firewall policy management, security rule reviews, and change implementations.
• Support network routing, switching, and Cisco security technologies to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Investigate and resolve network and security issues using tools like Wireshark, Splunk, Syslog, ServiceNow, Netcool, SevOne.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and security teams to implement best practices.
• Document technical procedures, incident resolutions, and infrastructure changes.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
